i'm back...i think

it's been quite awhile since i've posted anything. i'm not really quite sure why. i think i may have jumped in with both feet and kind of started drowning. once i started blogging a bit, i found all of these other really fabulous blogs out there and then was trying to keep up with all of them. it started to feel, i don't know, stressful. like i had to read everything everybody posted. i have since cut my blog reading down to 4 or 5 favorites. i think there are always going to be so many fabulous blogs out there. ones where i really related to what the blogger is saying and what's going on in their life. i've realized, though, that i don't have to, i can't, read all of them. i'd be sitting here all day! there are so many fabulously talented, beautiful, creative bloggers out there. so, maybe on a rainy day, i'll sit around and read a bunch, but for right now, i've got my favorites and i'm sticking to them. :)

i am feeling pretty content at the moment. i had a good weekend. i was driving home from a women's group tonight listening to one of my favorites, john mark mcmillan (i'll have to post about him sometime). i didn't realize that my husband had included some peter gabriel songs at the end of this cd. (we had burned a copy of jm's cd from our itunes library) the song that came on was 'book of love'. i don't know if you've ever heard this song before. it's not peter gabriel's. peter gabriel's newest cd is all covers. and it has a companion cd with the bands that he covered covering one of his songs. anyway, i LOVE this song. love, love, love. and, i love 'pride and prejudice', which is why this video is so absolutely perfect.
