isn't she beautiful? she and several of her friends are going to albania next month to lead a women's conference. they are taking little gift/blessing bags for each of the women who are in leadership there in albania. my mom asked me to make earrings to put in each bag.
the conference is called 'abiding love' and they are basing their teachings out of 1 john 4. my mom basically said i could do whatever i wanted. she thought it would be nice if there could be hearts, but didn't want anything cheesy looking. this is what i came up with.
i wanted to package them individually. i used a tan card stock and covered it with verses from 1 john 4 in a color just slightly darker than the paper as a back drop. i titled each little package with 'abiding love'
and used pins to poke holes for the earrings. (i'm sure there is a much more professional way to do all this, but i'm working with what i have. :)) i packaged each pair in a little plastic jewelry bag and added a bow on the outside by punching holes through the bag and card stock and threading the ribbon through.
