project 3 was a reusable tote bag. this project was pretty easy compared to some of the other ones.
i found the material in a remnant bin at joann's.
one of the skills learned in this project was the 'X'. as you can see, my Xs didn't quite line up with the other stitches on the outside of the bag.
they look pretty nice on the inside, though. and they make the straps feel really sturdy. overall, i'm pretty happy with the way this on turned out.
my daughter had a friend come over for her birthday. this bag i made for the little girl as a take home 'goodie' bag.
i was pretty happy with this bag, too. it's made out of felt. to do it again, i would make the flower a bit smaller. it looks cute when it's laying on the table, but when you pick it up, the flower makes the bag kind of front heavy.
project 4 was bunting. i made my first one for my niece. her birthday is the day before my daughter's. i love the way this one turned out!!
i used felt for the circles and the letters. i freehand drew the letters and then cut them out. i did cut the double letters out at the same time so they looked identical. i love the little button details on the picture circles.
i made a second one for my daughter to hang on the door of her new room.
she loves it and that makes me happy! :)
off to make yet another one for my other niece. and then, i'll be moving onto the next project, a supplies roll up. happy crafting!!

adorable and talented creations :) love the fabric for the tote!
