i am here, again. it's been a long time. i really want to do this on a regular basis. i have all of these thoughts running around my head. this is a really good outlet, but if i don't use it, it's like the thoughts go away or something. does that ever happen to anybody else? it's the same with crafting. when i don't create for a long time, it takes some serious prodding to get me going again, but once it starts flowing, i love it and the more i create, the more ideas i have. it seems like it bleeds over in a lot of areas of my life. i find that the more i let out the creativity, the more i want to do. writing is a creative outlet for me. i want to come here and write whatever i feel is coming out. i don't know exactly what that will look like day to day, but i think that it'll be kind of like pulling a plug to let stuff out.
i know that people say that you should go one direction/customize your blog. go with a certain theme. i don't thing i'm going to do that right away. maybe, over time, it'll develop into something specific, but for right now, it'll be pretty all over the place.
today, i was thinking about what i want my goals to be for 2011. i'm not big on resolutions. and, normally,
january for me doesn't signal a new year. i don't know why, but for me, october always seems like a new beginning. i love october. anyway, goals. i was thinking about this today. i want to set some goals for this year.
#1 - i want life. i want to see jesus. i want to know him. i want to hear him. i want to know him.
#2 - i want to set a more consistent schedule for me and the kids. i think we would all benefit from knowing what was going to happen throughout the day. especially with homeschooling.
#3 - i want to be healthy. ok, ok, i really want to be thin again. i want to set up a more consistent exercise schedule.
#4 - i want to create more. sewing, crafting, writing, taking pictures. i want to do something creative every day.
#5 - i really don't have a 5th thing i can think of, but just leaving it at 4 felt incomplete. ;)
see you soon!
