iheartfaces - week 12 - 'focusing on angles'

this week over at iheartfaces, the photo challenge is all about angles. taking a photo with a different perspective can give a fresh new 'something' that you wouldn't have if you took the same photo straight on. i recently learned this kind of by accident.

we went to south carolina for christmas this year to be with family. we had beautiful weather almost the entire time we were there. one afternoon, we decided to head over to the park. my niece, annie, loves doing the 'airplane' on the swing. you know, where you lay on your belly and swing with your arms spread wide. i was sitting on the ground trying to get a picture of her every time she swung toward me. i was getting a little frustrated because i wasn't getting the shot i really wanted. and then all of a sudden it was like a little light bulb went off in my head, 'lay on the ground underneath her.' yay, for angles! :)

head on over to iheartfaces, to see more fun angles!
