i love i heart faces! their photography tips and tutorials are great. the contests are so fun. i love looking at all the other pictures that are submitted. the past couple of weeks, i determined to participate. and then, i would wake up on wednesday morning and realize that it was too late. this week, i thought i would post the pictures anyway. the theme this week was sunglasses. one of my most favorite pictures of my daughter and me is this one.but, i didn't actually take this photo, my husband did. i decided i probably shouldn't use it.

i really like these 2 photos of me and my younger son.i did take those two, but the picture i probably would have ended up using for this week's contest would have been this one..
my daughter, again, with my dad. i know that photographs, like all art, is subjective to the viewer, but there's something about this photo that i love.

i've been wanting to learn how to sew for a really long time. my parents, brother, sister and my husband all went in together and got me a sewing machine for my birthday. and this class is perfect for me. yay!!!
